Come Jesus Come

I came across this song the other day while I was driving. I had never heard it before.. Well, not that I can recall, atleast! Songs, movies, teachings, and preachings that talk about Jesus coming back and heaven hit me a little different now. The person my soul was intertwined with by the law of marriage is there… he’s in heaven... I have (had) found the one whom my soul Loves. Song of Solomon 3:4 Now that he is in heaven, I long for the day that that day comes.

“Sometimes I fall to my knees and pray

Come, Jesus, come

Let today be the day

Sometimes I feel like I'm gonna break

But I'm holding on

To a hope that won't fade

Come, Jesus, come

We've been waiting so long

For the day You return

To heal every hurt and right every wrong

We need You right now

Come and turn this around

Deep down I know this world isn't home

Come, Jesus, come“

I have heard it preached and taught multiple times about how our life on earth is just a tiny blip in eternity. And it is…. But It can feel like forever when you long for the day that you get to see your husband again. I know that there are so many “lost” in the world, that hoping for the rapture to come at any time seems a little selfish… And for now, I’m okay with seeming a little selfish! No matter where life takes me, I’ll always long for Jesus coming back and wiping away all the pain we have here on earth. So, come Jesus come, we’ve been waiting so long. 🤍

I plan to work on this song in sign language soon! Subscribe to my channel, it’s free 🤗 (edit to add: I did do this in Sign language and it’s posted on my YouTube channel)

I’d be lying if I said I always wished my ex husband well. Because let’s be honest, after everything he put me through, I did not wish him well for a few years…..Until I did! Yep. After therapy, a lo
