My little prayer warrior

I recently made a post on my personal facebook about my sweet 5 year old and how her little prayer was more than she knew I needed.

God knew I was going to need her… 🤍 my little prayer warrior!

{Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you and Before you were born, you were set apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. }

That night, as I tucked her into bed, we did our 5348993 step routine. As I was finishing up, she said “but momma, we have to pray” and I said “okay, you go” (I love to hear her prayers)

And it went like this…..👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

“Dear lord,

Please wrap your arms around my momma. I love you Jesus. I love you to God. I love my momma. And Nora. Right now, I’m eating a bedtime snack and it’s yummy. After we pray, I’m going to watch “sleepy music” and go to sleep. Keep my mom safe. Arms around my sister. I love her. Amen”

Her little prayers have changed so much over the years. She didn’t know that it had been a tough few days for momma grief wise. She didn’t know what all I had embraced head on this week. I went through my husbands things, his head stone was placed at his grave, and we are at the 6 month mark of him passing. But, God knew.

Just a reminder that you children hear you when you pray outload around them. I’m reminding myself this as I type. It may not seem like it, but they do… I always pray for the Lord to wrap his arms of protection around her, and to bring her home safely to me. She reiterated that back to me tonight and it brought such comfort.

And also, after I got finished praying over her, she said “here is a tissue for later, okay here’s 2.. incase you miss babe and need to cry”

For those that don’t know, “Babe” is what Josh and I called each other. And Stella being so little, she

thought that was the name for him and her as well. She would call him babe and expect it to be returned LOL
